Was able to see "Dark blue world" (Tmavomodrý svět) on the International Film Channel last week - have seen it discussed here before but never had the chance to see it. Really enjoyed it - went online and ordered myself a copy.
I consider this film top notch of czech production in last 20 years. It is about czech-english relationships and cooperation, like this forum is.
Tmavomodry svet is a very nice movie, I agree. Another tip: I enjoyed "Autumn Spring" (Babi leto). This is the last movie with Vladimir Brodsky, one of excellent Czech actors before he died. I believe it is very cute (the end is the best part - in my opinion); also you can see a good profile of typical Czech mentality. I rented it from Netflix (with English subtitles) - I hope good news. Just btw Netflix or Blockusters have quite a few Czech movies.
