I know there's already kind of a thread about this but I wanted to be more specific, mobile broadband (in a dongel-thingy) What companies do this and what are the rates? Will it work in Trebic?

The reason why I think this would be the best option for me is that I will be moving again next year and the easiest thing is to move t he internet with me.

What are my other options? What do you guys use?

The other thread only talked about Prague . )

The best internet solution is cable - if you live in place, where it's available. http://www.upc.cz/

Second one is ADSL - It's available almost everywhere, where is land line.

Then there is mobile internet via CDMA - http://www.cz.o2.com/osobni/internet/in ... _plus.html

Another alternative are local wifi internet citizens' associations, they have much lower prices, but their quality is very variable - http://www.czfree.net/ .

This is in English and I still can't understand it.. are they saying it's 2 crowns to buy and then 600 crowns a month?

What about if I don't want a "24 month commitment" I don't want to still be paying 600 crowns a month when I'm not in CR.. I guess I could clear my bank account and just leave the country.. but I wouldn't want to be arrested the second I came back here ha ha

The other website looks good too, thanks, I'm checking that out. The broadband seems very fast though, and i'll have missed the special offer they have on by the time I get back, what other companies could I look at if I was thinking about going through the pain of getting someone to set up a phone line and internet in the house?
Slow (around 4mb) and cheap is fine.

edit: I forgot to thank you for your help! Thank you!
