    Hello everyone,

I'm amazed and pleased to discover this web site after about 9 years of trying to learn the Czech language. I thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Mike and I live in South Wales. I am learning Welsh now as well as Czech - it is quite a bit easier! My interest in Czech came largely through music, as I wrote a thesis on the symphonies of a great Czech composer, Bohusav Martinu, and am now turning it into a book.

I go to a language course in Prague every year, and am due to fly out there at the start of August. There are usually just 2 of us on the course from the UK, and it would be great to have some more if anyone is interested.

Good luck to all of you learning this challenging and fascinating language!

    Cheers

    Mike
