Brunn

    Hello,

    My Great-grandmother came from the Czech Republic. I found an old photo that showed the city of Brunn. Can anyone tell me where the city is located and something about the city? I would appreciate any information.

    Hello,

    I just discovered this interesting
    site (24/10/98). Brunn is the
    (old) German name for Brno,
    the second town in the Czech Republic.
    It the capital of Moravia and
    it is situated 200 km from Prague
    in the direction of Slovakia.

    Also try Studenec (Brunn) 120 kilometers SSW of Prague.
