I know my last name Vyvial is Czech but no one can tell me the origins or meaning of the name past pretty much that it is Czech. Does anyone have an idea?

Vyvial is probably a Polish surname, the original Polish spelling is Wywiał. The Czech form would be Vyvál.

    The meaning:

past participle of the verb wywiać (Polish) or vyváti (Czech) = to blow (away, out, off)

    Wiatr wywiał wszystkie liśćie. (Polish)
    Vítr vyvál všechno listí. (Czech)
The wind has blown all the leaves away. (English)
