My grandmother-in-law is currently renting an apartment in a building near the hospital in Ostrava Poruba. She's been there for 22 years. In a year or so the firm that owns the building will offer to sell the apartment to her. Apparently they will offer it to her rather cheaply since she's lived there so long. Does this sound familiar?

She is considering purchasing the apartment (depending on the price) and then leaving it to my wife. What's a one bedroom apartment in Poruba generally sell for now days?

If grandmother does purchase the apartment we will help with the purchase price. We're a bit excited about the prospect as it will give us a place to stay when we make our summer trips to Czech.
