Recently a reseller agree-ment signed with The Ring Ring Company based in Belgium supports U-Turn’s global strategy to work within the mobile marketing industry, to offer a compelling and interactive marketing tool for brand owners. The Position - System Architect U-Turn is seeking a unique individual who can join the company to participate on delivery of U-Turn services to B2B customers. The position has been created to help to analyze and define the system architecture in-cluding technology selection process. Part of the work would be a definition of the company core products; second it would be a participation on specialized services developed for particular customers. Your Activities • Understand business requirements and objectives of U-Turn clients • Define the core service architecture of the product and customer oriented services • Work with developers on successful implementation of the product and services • Integrate various internal and third party services with U-Turn product • Create architecture of a flexible environment serving application in the web and mobile universe • Support Prague and US operations with ideas about the service architecture About You • You will have a successful track record in a service providing company • You will understand the architecture of mobile centric services • You will understand basic concepts of streaming video and other types of mobile content delivery • You will understand the operational background of at least one large telecommunications supplier, media company, advertising agency or system integrator • Have an excellent understanding of distributed environments (Internet and mobile applications) • Have an excellent knowledge of XML base REST-full applications • Have a knowledge about relational and XML database systems • Have a knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux based architectures • Understand concepts of developing services using .Net, Apache, Java, Python, Perl, C/C++ • Have a demonstrated and proven ability to think strategically and creatively in defining the operational needs of the business • Team player with a drive that stimulates people around you • Prepared to travel • Above average English skills (spoken and written) • Live in or be wiling to commute to Prague, Czech Republic • You will have at least 5 years IT background, 2 of which will be in a customer relationship oriented position The Offer Attractive fixed monthly salary plus generous bonus scheme.
