Hello. My friends and I are thinking about going to Czech for spring break, and were concerned about the language barriers. I have a very good knowledge of the russian language and was wondering if it is used there? The only language my friends know is english, so i would be a big help if i could communicate with the public.
Well, Russian does not belong among the favorite languages of Czech people, so I recommend you to speak English (Prague people are accustomed to visitors from all over the world), but your knowledge of Russian will help you understand Czech, as they are quite close to each other.
