Hi, a Czech friend has written to me and used a word for which I cannot find the meaning.

The word is "krapet" (sorry about the lack of accent marks but the message was sms and thus I do not know whether there should be any).

I am guessing it may be some form of decoration for Christmas as it was used in a sentence describing the accidental devastation caused by a toddler, who also wrecked an Advent crown.

    The whole sentence reads:

"Krapet nam znicil i adventni venec."

    Thanks.

According to my dictionary krapet means 'a drop', 'a little'. so my guess at the translation would be "He ruined slightly it for us"

    Thanks Phi11ip.

I've got access to my big dictionary today and that is what it says too.

I needed the answer yesterday, hence the post, so thanks for your help when needed :) .
