Thank you very much for inviting me. Děkuji mnohokrát za pozvání. It was a nice party. Byl to hezký večírek. "Večírek" literally means a "party" or "celebration". If you would like to be more general and say "It was a nice evening", you would say "Byl to hezký večer". I hope this helps!
