    Hola Alexx,

A mi me gusta viajar mucho.

I like to travel very much. I traveled to Canada, beatiful country, and as well I did travel to many countries in Europe. I see you like to travel and that you have plans for visiting many places.

I am not getting "He viajado" - it is past tense?

    Alexxi,
    Děkuji za vysvětlení!

*un mes, dos meses... (one month, two months)
pozor! una mesa, dos mesas... (one table, two tables)

** he viajado: past perfect tense (I have traveled)

I never learned Spanish but I can see that the Spaniards speak mutilated Latin. :) No surprise, in ancient times the territory of todays Spain was a part of the Roman province named Hispania (Citerior and Ulterior; later H. Tarraconensis, Baetica and Lusitania = Portugal).

ahora = ad horam = k (této) hodině = to (this) hour

un mes = unus mensis = měsíc
dos meses = duos menses (accusative plural)

una mesa = una mensa = stůl
dos mesas = duas mensas (accusative again)

In Czech mensa means a refectory for university students.

mensa, konsul, kurs, puls, diskuse, filosofie, panslavismus... always with s

I have meant that I always write those words with s.

I guess you have never seen gymnázium written with s, too. But many years ago I attended gymnasium (how it is written on my Maturitní vysvědčení) not gymnázium. I am sure that I went to mensa as well. :)

They live from money of the tax payers and behave like they have a copyright on the Czech language. They have no legal right to change anything. More precisely they have the same right like any other Czech institution or individual.

Not anymore, they renounced the efforts on language prescription. Now, they declare they have only descriptive objectives.

This is more serious reason :D. But privatization would be better than liquidation.
