Karle, to jsou fantastické. Moc ti děkujeme.

Hearing the rythym of Czech, and how the long vowels sound is extremely useful. Hearing and repeating, essential.
I have heard people sing perfectly a song at karaoke, even with the right original accent. And then when I speak with them they might have a heavy English accent.
Put something to song and rythym and it is much easier to remember.

And we get to learn the names of little critters.

So in the Nohavice song, the image we can imagine is the women crying
at the kitchen counter while she is cutting carrots for a salad?

".. a její slzy kapaly na její mrkváče"

her tears were dropping on her "jeans in the form of carrot" (type of jeans, which are narrower at the bottom end)
the jeans used here as a characteristic of a certain type of young people 8)

hmmmm, created the wrong image.
Mrkaváče, who knew? Must be opposite of the old bell bottom style, that was popular here in the seventies.

Those are interesting to listen to.
    That is a great resource.
    Hezké nové zdroje informace.
