Good morning everyone in Czech Republic, I am trying to locate the pub that holds a commemoration of the martyism death of student Jan Palach in 1968. It is my understanding that another student died the same way in 1989 and his death is also commemorated. I was reading an article on the web site written by an American student visiting Prague in 2001 and he attended this event and was absolutely awestruck at the emotion--and the connection that he felt during the event. I am planning a trip to Prague in May 2005 so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. It is a lovely summer day here in Arizona--only suppose to reach 102 degrees which is a bit lower than normal for this time of year.
