Ahoj Nancy! I'm learning Czech on my own. I started with a little phrasebook and a dictionary and now I have a good Czech textbook and this site has helped me a lot! Unfortunately here in Italy where I live I don't get any chance to speak Czech but I'd like to practice my spoken Czech. Anyway I'll soon be in Prague again
What textbook are you using now? I've got a phrase book and two different text books, both of which are very different, and both are not too good, I think, so which one are you using? I'd like to check it out! Thanks!
