Hello everyone, I started a petition to release czech television series on DVD in czech and german language. Series means: Pan Tau, Arabela, Letajici Cestmir, Navstevnici, Lucie postrach ulice etc. These series are very popular in Czech Republic and Germany (and many other countries). We just want to have them released in a very good way. If you would like to support our petition (which has actually 280 votes, only 35 on the actual pages) please sign: http://545387.guestbook.onetwomax.de/ Thank you very much in forward. Hello, I think some of them were only produced for Germany, such as "Lucie postrach ulice". That series was that west-orientated that it was nearly impossible to show it on CST that time. No wonder that it was first screened as a film four years later. Other series like "Mlcnaci" are in fact only german productions. That was a series which was filmed around 1979 and dealt with the things happened after WW2 in Czech Republic (Vertreibung/ Umsiedlung > repatriation) which was a taboo at that time. This series hasn't been broadcasted in Czech Republic even now but are czech as czech actors made the series. Wonder how and wonder why. What we mean is to have DVDs with BOTH languages. Not only czech not only german. It's not to exclude someone but to include all the fans. I would even like to have titles in many other languages, english, french, dutch and so on, but what we demand is just the lowest hopes. It's so hard to get those series released in Germany as well.
No, the location was in Germany, the actors 100% czech. Only some of the "spolupracovali" were czech-german emigrants such as the man who made Friedrich and Friedrich... But these series have often two language versions when they filmed doors and signs: sometimes the words are german and sometimes the words are czech. In Lucie its exclusively only german.
