I had a friend called Lida and she lost her life in an accident last year in Prague. I am trying to get information about where she is resting and when it happened etc. She was a very good friend. Does anyone know how I can get such information. I only speak English.

If you know in which city your friend lived (if in Prague, which Prague district?), a good next step would probably be to contact the local townhall/city council that should have records of the people registered in that district. Records of automobile accidents should be filed with the respective police department. I doubt that the staff at these offices will speak English, so you should have someone translate your email/letter into Czech first. Good luck!
