Czechs in Litomerice and the surrounding area say Cechy all the time. Maybe some don't but I haven't noticed. I know they don't like saying Cesko so much, maybe it's just a Northern Bohemia difference.
Hi, I was always told that the "imperfective" eg dělat, was for an uncompleted act, so budu dělat would be I will be doing, whereas the "perfective" udělat, would be for a completed act, so udělám would be I will do. As we have this in English, it was fairly easy to relate, the difficulty I find is that sometimes the endings change, řeknout and řikat just being one of many. I think you just have to learn every single one but remember this rule of thumb.
