Hi, I have been craving Czech goodies (like FIdorka, Tatranka, bramburky, lipa, bonpary......) for a while now. Does anyone know where could I buy them or order them on line? I live in the US. Thanks!
What city do you live in? If it has a large Czech population, there might be a store. Also, look for Polish stores as well, because they sometimes have Czech sweets/food.
Interesting ... most people are craving Kofola and Fernet I guess Fidorka or Tatranky are easy to be replaced by some local "equivalent", but try to replace Becherovka... 8)
to me Goldschlager tastes remotely like it - but, I really don't have to substitute - I keep a bottle or two of Becherovka at home (always bring them back with me)
I am in California too and I haven't found anything yet. I have Becherovka at home, but I only use it for very special occassions.
I'll try to get you the name of the stores in Chicago. Perhaps they send things throughout the states.
I am near Chicago, and would love to check out the places you mentioned. Could you share the names/locations of them? Thanks!
They surprisingly have very reasonable prices, aprox. twice as much as here only. Banánky v čokoládě Fidorka ...
