    Hi Simone:

I'm not sure if I understand your concerns, but you seem to be uncertain about the correct form of your Czech business license.

The license comes in the form as shown in the pictures from the Google search link you put in your post. The paper is relatively heavy (but not very heavy) and there are irregular (natural) small color fibers in its structure, which you can best see on the reverse. They're a bit like in US dollar bank notes and I understand it isn't easy to fake this type of paper.

This certificate is basically to be able to show it if required, but your business registration record with the authority is more important. The certificate shows your unique business identification number (identifikacni cislo), which can be used to check your business registration. Also on the web: http://www.zivnostensky-rejstrik.cz/ (no legal value of this web database record though)...

Hello Jirka, thanks for your reply ...

sorry but i still have a concern about it...

at the moment i have got just a document for my business that looks like this one in this link.
    http://www.bergendi.sk/zivn_list.jpg

what i have is just a simple paper (white paper like printed with a normal printer), inside there is my details, address and ICO, also there are original stampa from the trade office.

i asked twice to my account to provide me a certificate for my business ( i thought one like you described before, with fiber heavy paper etc) and he came twice with something like this.

    is it fine???

    thanks for your time
    bye

at the time the trade licensing act was amended (with effect as of July 1, 2008), they changed the procedures somewhat - including the fact that they no longer issue the "old style" trade license, but rather that it is issued in the form you have...

sorry link is only in czech:

Živnostenské listy a koncesní listiny, které nyní slouží jako průkazy živnostenského oprávnění, nahrazuje novela jediným dokladem, a to výpisem z živnostenského rejstříku. Podnikatel tak bude oproti dnešku, kdy každé živnosti přísluší jeden živnostenský list či jedna koncesní listina, prokazovat oprávnění podnikat v několika oborech pouze jediným dokladem.

    one more link: http://www.podnikatel.cz/clanky/podoba- ... rejstriku/

As of 1 July, trade licences will be replaced by excerpts from the trade license register. Old trade licenses remain valid even after 1 July. An excerpt will be issued to existing trade license holders only if requested or at the time he/she registers any changes.

"The excerpt will be a classic document, which will not include any of the special elements that current trade licenses do," stated Matyas Vitik from the Ministry of Industry and Trade Press Department.
