Looking For Hrouda Relatives In Czech Republic

Postby jhrouda44 » 30-Jul-09 2:06

The Hrouda family originated in Holusice Bohemia, would like to know if any relatives are still living in the region.

Sorry, your information is too sketchy.

“Holusice” stays most likely for “Holušice”. There are three Holušice in the Czech Republic (Google Maps, Mapy). None of them is big enough to be independent municipality, so they all are part of an adjacent village.

The name “Hrouda” is not one of the most frequent surnames, but still it is relatively common. Though, given the size of all the Holušice, you have chance to find the right Hrouda. :D

Holušice, part of Kaliště (e-mail: kaliste@quick.cz)
Holušice, part of Kozárovice (e-mail: kozarovice@obecni-urad.net)
Holušice, part of Sedlice (e-mail: ousedlice@obec-sedlice.cz)

Thank you for your assistance. My second cousin gave me the information I posted but as you mentioned it was sketchy to say the least.
Since I have no brothers or sisters and my two children are girls I will be the last of my family and would like to pass on as much info as possible to my daughters.
