Hello! I have been searching for the correct way to speak the Czeck word "pocta". From what I have been able to find through Czech/English dictionaries, this word should translate to English as "tribute", "homage", or "compliment". I am uncertain how to pronounce the "p" in the beginning, and am also unsure about the vowel sound for the "a" at the end. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for your assistance!
Use this text-to-speech: http://www.acapela-group.com/text-to-sp ... -demo.html Select the Czech (Eliška) language. I think it pronounces the word pocta very well.
PERFECT!!! Thanks very much, I was unaware of that resource you provided the link to. For some reason I was mistakenly under the impression that the letter "P" had a different pronounciation, this is easier than I anticipated. Thanks again!
