I am getting a new Gmail account and am trying to come up with a catchy
email address with a Czech word or phrase. If you have any ideas, please
let me know. Thanks!

What poupátko do you mean?

This one or these ones?

Or perhaps the “bud” in Rosebud’s nickname doesn’t refer to poupě at all, perhaps it stays for Budweiser. Wink

Were,

What are they doing in that second video? I read some of the comments. On person said "SMRT KOMUNISMU!!"

Is it some sorta of 80's celebration of communism?

Hm... probably yes.

Spartakiáda was some kind of "celebration of exercise/motion", mass gymnastics display, held each 5 years in Prague's Strahov Stadium (where this video was taken).

Reactions below are results of not very volunteer participation of many people, typical for comunist celebration of any kind.
