The Canonisation of the Czech President (Saint) Vaclav Klaus

Postby Yvan » 02-Oct-11 17:15

Wenceslaus I (Czech: Václav [ˈvaːtslaf] ; c. 907 – September 28, 935), or Wenceslas I, was the ruler (kníže, translated as "duke") of Bohemia from 921 until his death in 935.
He is venerated as Saint Wenceslaus (Svaty Vaclav) and is the main patron saint of the Czech state. Wenceslas is also the subject of the Christmas carol "Good King Wenceslas".

But just recently a practical joke happening for the canonisation of Vaclav Klaus has took place at the centre of Prague.
Svaty = Saint
