    Hello,
My mother in law used to make this awesome stuffing/breading and she called it nanifka. A while ago a really nice man on another board sent me the recipe and my computer crashed before I was able to copy it! Does anyone have any idea how to make this???
    Thanks!

    Hi Stacey,

"nádivka" simply means "stuffing" and there is not just one recipe for it. There are many different kinds of stuffing (for turkey, chicken, pork, even sweet stuffing for dumplings) that use various kinds of ingredients, such as meat, bacon, bread, vegetables, apples, walnuts... What did your mother in law use the stuffing for and what were the main ingredients?

    Hi Dana!
Thanks so much for replying! She used it for turkey stuffing and it had stale bread, eggs and milk, and that's all I know. Any information is truly appreciated!

I found this nádivka recipe in my Czechoslovak Cookbook by Joza Břízová:

    Roll Stuffing (Nádivka ze žemlí)

    2 tbsp diced bacon
2 hard rolls, cut into cubes
    2 tbsp butter, melted
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs, separated
    salt to taste
    1 tbsp minced parsley

Fry bacon, add to rolls with butter and milk, lightly beaten egg yolks, salt, and parsley. Mix well and let stand for about 1 hour. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
