I know Valentine's Day is an English holiday but does anyone know how to translate "happy Valentine's Day" in Czech?

    Would appreciate the Help..

    Thank you,

    John,
Although Valentine's Day was basically unknown in Czechoslovakia before 1989, it has become popular in the past several years and is now celebrated in the Czech Republic as well. February 14 is actually the name day of Valentýn (after St. Valentine). "Happy Valentine's Day!" is "Veselého Valentýna!" in Czech.
Veselého Valentýna to you and all our visitors!

    Dear Dana,

Thank you so much for your response to my posting. You've been very helpful. Happy Valentine's Day or I should say, Veseleho Valentyna!

    Thank you again,

    John
