Can someone please explain the difference to me between propachtovat and pripachtovat? (diacritics on the 1st 'a' of propachtovat and on the 'r' of pripachtovat) one is renting out a field, and the other? Also the word "dopicky" as in "dopicky system" (something to do with accounting). Thanks so much
Apologies for not putting correct CZ>ENG heading to this message! If anyone has any vague idea about the term "dopicky system" here is a link to it being used in context... http://www.psp.cz/cgi-bin/ascii/eknih/1 ... 590_27.htm
All these words are archaisms. kamerální and dopický were apparently types of bookkeeping. propachtovat - probably to rent land to someone (farmer)? připachtovat - prefix "při" indicates it's about appending something, like: Připachtoval Petrovi k pozemku A i pozemek B. He rented land A to Peter as addition to land B which he already rented to Peter before. But it's only my speculation.
