    I second the second.

(With small reservation regarding the missing “tam” which stays for “there”.)

    sure, second is right.

I wanted only help with the "prodělal" part.

So that sentence can be reworded this way....Už prodělal prasečí chřipku??

Yes, just add some "really" and "there".

Ok, I got the grammatical construction now.
Smůlař, když byl v Paříže, skutečně prodělal hroznou rymu. A proto musel zůstat v postele celé dovolené. Je zpět a teď je zdravý jako ryba.

*) We say: "Zdravý jako rybička" or "Zdravý jako řípa"

There exists also another meaning of "prodělat", which is quite far from the mentioned one:

prodělat peníze - lose money (in some transaction)

    Here is the complete sentence.

Tak to si představ, že náš Rosťa byl na čtyř měsíční stáži v Litvě a 15.12. se vracel domů s tím, že tam tu prasečí chřipku skutečně prodělal.

In translating, I wasn't sure if this was saying Rosta had been around people that had the swine flu or if he actually had the flu.

prodělal is perfective verb so he had flu when was there and is healthy again.

A little bit offtopic - čtyřměsíční should be written as one word, not two.
