I have known about the jobcentreplus site before but the problem is, that i am still in the CZ at the moment and most of the employers there do not even bother with recruiting someone from outside the UK unless that someone is specialized in something which is in great demand in England. Still, thank you for taking the time. I appreciate it! Ps. Sorry that i didnt write in Czech - maybe that would make a little contribution to your Czech studying? :wink:
Hello Marketa My name is Clare, I live in Kent not far at all from Sussex. Where in Sussex are you looking for work. Would you consider working as an aupair? The good thing about aupairing, you will be provided with accommodation and all food so what you earn is in your pocket. I have an agency called Nanny Seekers and I specialise in placing the best Czech aupairs with the best English families. I travel to Prague and to other towns throughout Czech Republic on a regular basis as I meet all my aupairs before they come to England. Clare, Thank you very much for your kind offer! I have been living and working in England for almost a year now, and am happy here. I have to mention, though, that i was au-pairing in the past and think of it as of an experience of my life!!! (also due to beautiful and so diverse american continent and people! :wink: ) The agency i was there with had one person in each area whose task was to take care of all the local au-pairs, ensuring everything between them and families was running smoothly, as well as organising trips and other, either entertainment or exploring getaways. I have always thought i would enjoy this kind of job. I don't think agencies across England do that for au-pairs, though. Or am i mistaken??? Marketa
Hello Marketa My agency is very different to any other agency in England. I personally meet all my aupairs before they come to England (I only work with Czechs) and when they arrive I always meet them and help them to get to their families. Once my aupairs are in England, I arrange get togethers in London every few months. So I would say that I care very much about all aupairs I place. I also try and meet most of my families before I place aupairs with them. If you hear of anyone wishing to work as an aupair here in England, I would be happy to hear from them then can arrange to meet them in Czech Rep. I am in Cz every 6-8 weeks. Nice to hear from you.
