Does anyone know if there is still a flea market just south of the Andel metro station at Smichovske nadrazi? What days is it? and can I walk from the metro station? I read old literature that it was open every weekend. Does that mean Saturday and Sunday? Thank you _________________ I love everything about the Czech Republic!!! I can hardly wait to return. Hmmm.... Last spring I lived about two blocks east of the Andel station and knew the area pretty well, but I never saw a flea market close by. There were a few open-every-day kiosks down by the bus station, but I think the literature you saw may have been out of date. Anyone have more recent info? _________________ Why tiptoe carefully through life, only to arrive safely at death's door? |

There is quite a new big flee market at Prague 9.
It's close to metro station KOLBENOVA (the same "B" line as Andel, but to the other direction from the centre).
OPEN every SA-SU 6.00-13.00.

(In Czech flee market = blesi trh/trhy). |

I highly recommend Kolbenova!!! Very easy to get to and a nice mix of mostly old with some new. I went there last year and am going again this year.
Thanks for your reply. _________________ I love everything about the Czech Republic!!! I can hardly wait to return. I have just purchased my own antique shoppe. |
