Hi, I recently spent a couple weeks in Brno at the Janacek Music Festival, and I snapped photos of two plaques that I would like translated. I'll try to transcribe them here, but the first one -- commemerating the Czech writer Karel Capek -- is carved in strangely slanted relief, and is a bit difficult to parse out. (If anyone would like to help, I could email the photos directly).
