Postby juraset » 04-Nov-07 0:32

8) please can somebody tell me this:

"Every breath you take" it means "kdykoli dýcháš - every time when you are breathing ?" or it means "kdykoli jsou lide z tebe ohromeni - every time when are people amazed from you"?

thanks for replys

I know it is lyric from Police :) . Sting and his musician are my best favorite of all. :D

But how can I understand this sentece: "Every breath you take" ?

it means:
you are breath-taking (such beautiful) and every breath you take I'll be watching you
or
you must breath and every breath you take I'll be watching you.

in Czech
to znamená:
kdykoli někomu vezmeš dech (svoji krásou) budu tě sledovat
nebo
kdykoli se nadechneš - každý tvůj nádech budu tě sledovat

i think it is the second option - kdykoliv se nadechnes...

nekomu vzit dech... by bylo "take breath away with your beauty"

I think the closest, but not very poetic sounding alternative, would be 'every time you breathe'.

A more literal translation would be something like

"Každé vdechnutí vdechneš,"

since the original text indicates repetition of a single action of breathing (the song emphasizes the noticing--and presumed cataloging--of every discrete event). The general meaning, however, is still well-captured by Poledníková's post.

Každý tvůj nádech = Každé vdechnutí co vdechneš (better: Každé nadechnutí co vdechneš)

every explanation are perfect :)
