I have a children's book Tracyho Tygr. Should I pronounce the name as an Engish "Tracy Thomas" or should it be as Czech. I wonder for all the cases.

    thanks.

    Michael,

If the name Tracy, as I assume, is an English name, than the correct pronunciation would be the English one. So, use long "a" and let "c"="s" (In Czech, pronounce as "Trejsyho").

So I also found out at lunch today. It may seem a small thing, but by phonetics they are different, so there is a right and a wrong pronunciation.

    Dekuji pekne!
