How can I pay
for my rental?
Auto Europe accepts American Express, Mastercard, Visa and
personal checks.
How is my rate guaranteed?
Car hire rates are guaranteed in euros. All bookings require
a full prepayment to confirm.
Is there a fee for canceling or
changing a reservation?
United States: There is
no fee to change or cancel a car rental booking provided
that you contact Auto Europe before the end of the rental
period. All changes and cancellations must be processed
by Auto Europe and not through their affiliates.
Ireland: There
is no fee to change or cancel a car hire booking, until the
hire commences. All changes and cancellations must be processed
by Auto Europe and not through their affiliates.
Cancellations must be done prior to pick up date in order
to receive a full refund. Should the customer not show
up for the car hire, a no show fee equal to the first 3
day minimum will be charged.
United Kingdom: There
never is a fee to change or cancel car rental bookings.
Reservations are fully refundable at any time. All changes
and cancellations must be processed by Auto Europe and
not through their affiliates.
What do I need to pick up
my car?
In order to pick up your car you are required to provide a
copy of your car hire reservation voucher, credit card and
drivers license. Auto Europe's vouchers contain specific information
about the car you have reserved, the hire rate, and other details.
Vouchers are generally emailed to you immediately upon receipt
of payment. If needed a voucher can also be sent by fax. A
rental agreement is completed at the car hire counter at the
time of pick-up.
What kind of insurance can I get for my rental car?
Insurance coverage varies by country. Please see the
