What to See and Do in Olomouc
Because Olomouc has a large university (Palacký
University, the second oldest in the country), there are loads
of cheap cafés and bars, plenty of cultural activity and an overall
liveliness to the place. The university faculties include law,
music, fine arts, languages, education, environmental sciences,
philosophy, theology and medicine. Most of the students speak at
least a little English and will probably be keen to try it out
on you.
