the city center. It takes approximately 25 - 30
minutes (40 minutes in heavy traffic) to reach
the center by car and about 30 minutes on public
transport (bus + subway).
Public transportation provides the
cheapest way of getting to downtown Prague. It is easy
to use, clean, reliable, and runs frequently. Taking
public transport will include some walking and the buses
and subway can be crowded at peak hours, so if you have
a lot of luggage, you may want to take a taxi or use a
door-to-door transfer service.
