The marathon began as the Prague International Marathon
1995. In 2011, there were 8,500 participants The Volkswagen Prague Marathon has been voted one of the most beautiful marathon courses in the world. If you like discovering the undiscovered, running alongside a river and meandering through the heart of a medieval capital city, then the Volkswagen Prague Marathon is for you. The race starts and finishes on the famous Old Town Square and takes you through many different neighbourhoods of the magical city of Prague.

The MATTONI Prague Grand Prix is the last event of the annual PIM Running Circuit. Don't miss the chance to run at night through the illuminated streets of Prague: an unforgettable experience. The Old Town Square and its surroundings will be animated with live music, dancing and many other great attractions. The METRO 10k Race is open to all runners over 15.
