Northern Moravia (Severní Morava)

East and north-east of Prague. What this region has to offer is the peaceful Jeseníky Mountains, still relatively untouched by tourism. You can ski in winter, hike in summer, and spend relaxing time in the numerous pensions and mountain chalets that are scattered around. You can also visit the city of Olomouc, which has the most valuable historical sights besides Prague. With a bit of luck you can hear the biggest organ in Central Europe play in St. Maurice Church. The St. Wenceslas Cathedral and the old university area are definitely worth seeing, too.
