Bohemia (Západní Čechy)
West and south-west of Prague. This is a well-known
spa region. You may have heard of Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary)
or Marienbad (Mariánské Lázně) where many famous people have stayed
for spa treatment. These are beautiful towns surrounded by green
hills and thick forests, and they are rather quiet in spite of
tourism. You can wander around and try drinking some of
the 12 curative springs, but be careful and don't experiment too
much since mixing the springs is about as risky as mixing alcohol!
