Ciao, mi permetto di aggiungere qualcosina ai consigli che ti ho dato
Effettivamente i prezzi degli alberghi "centrali" si aggirano mediamente su quanto hai visto anche tu. Per esempio, l'albergo che ti ho consigliato io sta intorno ai 115 Euro a notte per una doppia.
Visto il poco tempo che starai ti consiglio anche io di prenderne uno abbastanza centrale. Il City Centre si trova in Namesti Republiky (Piazza della Repubblica)...quindi, letteralmente a 2 passi dalla Piazza della Città Vecchia, da Piazza Venceslao e dal Ponte Carlo.
Ma assolutamente non voglio condizionare le tue scelte
Ribadisco solo che la tua idea di trovarne uno centrale è giusta. Considera comunque che il servizio di trasporto pubblico a Praga è buonissimo. Tram, autobus e metro sono molto puntuali ed economicamente convenienti.
Una volta raggiunto il centro considera che, se ami camminare almeno un pò, potrai visitare la città girando a piedi. Ti assicuro che resterai affascinata ad ogni stradina in cui passerai e sicuramente le tue "fatiche" podistiche saranno ben ricompensate.

Altra cosa...se puoi, io ti consiglio di stare in città almeno 3 giorni pieni. Credo che sia un periodo sufficiente per vedere un pò di tutto.
2 giorni a mio giudizio sarebbero un pò pochini.

Ultima cosa...per quanto riguarda il clima in ottobre ho dato una occhiata qua sul sito. Diciamo che le temperature si aggirano mediamente sui 10-15 gradi e si alternano giornate di sole a giornate di pioggia. Ovviamente spero tantissimo che troverai bel tempo
In caso di pioggia non disperare...la città è bellissima anche bagnata!!!
Certo, è più scomodo andare in giro e fare foto...ma con il meteo proprio non possiamo farci nulla.

I don't believe you I LOVE HEAT! I'm cold here in Michigan when it is 75 degrees outside. I'm in heaven when it's 90 and in Michigan there is high humidity like Florida, but I still love it. Yes, more precisely, the HIGH ENAMEL, which is the 10th one down, it's blue with raised flowers on the gold. But all those would make nice wedding gifts, imo.

I have heard that rather odd inflection at the end of a statement too.
Hard to tell whether they are telling me something or asking me something.
As if in the middle of the sentence they decided to make it a question.

Does not promote confidence in what they are saying.

Definitely another one for Trivial Pursuit!

Reminds me of the theories of why young people's speech goes up at the end of sentences, like a question.

One is that it all started in the UK in a big way with the Australian soap, Neighbours, because that's how Australians speak. But also that it's because of a lack of self-confidence, that they're unsure of themselves and therefore have to subconsciously 'ask permission' whenever they say anything.

Grazie Ulisse del suggerimento dell'albergo, io infatti stò cercando un alloggio dignitoso in una zona dove posso raggiungere il cuore della città anche a piedi. Ho visto che i prezzi degli alberghi che fanno al caso nostro più o meno stanno sui 100 euro a camera a notte.
Per quanto riguarda la vita notturna credo che non avremo la forza di godercela stando fuori tutto il giorno dopo cena mi sa che crolleremo.
Più che altro sono combattuta per la durata del soggiorno... 2 o 3 giorni pieni? Purtroppo il volo di rientro parte poco prima di mezzogiorno quindi mi gioco una giornata...
Per le temperature... temo che sarà proprio freddo... il mio desiderio è che almeno non piova... chiedo troppo?
