Hello all :D We have just returned from Prague back to the "Sunny UK" (the weather is'nt good here as normal).....

Anyways, I had an amazing long weekend in Prague and actually met a gorgeous Czech girl over there. I had a text from her this morning and one thing I'm trying to find out is what Jsi nejlapsi means? Would anyone know here?

Think I'm going to have to start learning Czech

Ok chaps, another one for you...

How do you say in Czech

    1. "I'm always thinking about you"
    2. "Your always on my mind"
    3. "I cant wait to come back to Prague"

Can someone clarify them please. I'd like to see how 1 & 2 differ in the way its said and wrote.

    1) stále na tebe musím myslet ['sta:le 'na tebe 'musi:m 'myslet]
    2) the same, we do not use such a construction
    3) Nemohu se dočkat, až se vrátím do Prahy ['nemohuse 'dotSkat | 'aZ se 'vra:ci:m 'do prahi]

I hope you know the x-sampa phonetic transcription, if not, consult wikipedia.

Thank you very much. My parents are Polish and Polish was the first language I could speak until I was about 3-4 years old. A lot of Czech words are very similar to polish but yes the x-sampa phonetic transcription is'nt exactly a strong point as my main language is English. I'm looking at Wiki now!

As for 1 & 2 I thought it may be the same but I thought I better ask here as you guys could tell me for sure.

The same, “překrásná” and “nádherná” are synonyma.
