It is one of many czech ways how to say "to die". When I'll die - až to se mnou sekne, až zaklepu bačkorama, až půjdu pod kytky,...
"When I kick the bucket" is the only similar english phrase off the top of my head, but google says there's many more dysphemisms for dying.
To be precise, it means to hit the deck or to keel over. To die suddenly is only the extreme meaning of it. By using the word “definitivně” (= definitely), Nohavice makes pretty clear he means the extreme meaning.
But if I'm hearing right, he says to bude pěkne. So is he saying it will be nice to "kick the bucket"????
Yes. He says: To bude fajne, to bude pěkne, až to se mnou definitivně sekne. = It will be fine, it will be nice, when I'll kick the bucket (definitely).
Rather “pretty” than “nice”. It could be interpreted in more ways: It/that will be nice/pleasant… It/that will be nice/fine/pretty/beautiful/grandiose/monumental… It/that will be great… It/that will be neat/elegant… It/that will be a fine mess / pretty upheaval… … It’s up to you to choose your understanding.
Až půjdu pod kytky.... The poor fellow died and now he's pushing up daisies. až zaklepu bačkorama...when I will knock slippers?
That is quite an image. Zaklepat bačkorama. One I've seen in movies. Když procházel v údolí smrtí, to se nim z čistého nebe nebe setkal.
