I just wanted to update my adventures to Prague - I got back to the UK on Friday 15th and was so sad to leave Prague after just 3 days. I stayed in Hotel Grand in the Zizkov area and I must say that I really liked both the area and the hotel - whilst the old town and the tourist areas are fantastic, I am really glad I stayed slightly out of the way - it was less crowded, the restaurants are much cheaper and there are more opportunities to try out your czech (though to be honest I felt really self conscious doing this!) So, to keep my ramblings short and sweet, I really recommend that any would be visitors to Prague stay a bit away from the centre - Zizkov was fab and the beer was really cheap and I will definitely be returning to Prague as soon as my purse allows!
