I am moving to Lhotka in P4 temporarily. I am having a difficult time trying to find information about it. Is anyone familiar with this area and is able to give me an idea of what the living situation is like? (safety, transport, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.) Thanks!
Lhotka is a few (5-10) minutes west of the metro station Kačerov (on the red line, south of the city center). Basically it's a concrete jungle, just like most of Prague's residential districts. I never had any problems with safety in the area of Lhotka, although I never had the occasion to be there late at night, so I can't speak for that. In general, Prague is very safe, judging by the standards of other European cities of its size. I'll try to remember some other specifics about Lhotka, but it's been 11 years since I spent any time in the area.

Based on the pictures, that part of Lhotka looks pretty safe. I figured that Lhotka was going to have the look of the block style variety, since I was unable to find any pictures and have never heard of it. Sova and Ales, thanks so much for your help! If anyone else knows anything about this area, I'd love to hear about it.
