Stayed there last year. A bit touristy (therefore expensive) but had a good stay there with no complaints. Not right in the centre but close enough to walk to most sights and 5 minutes from the metro

It is in the centre, but seems rather pricey. You may want to take metro somewere else. You must visit Prague Castle and other places, depending on how much time you have. You can also walk to tram from there. So as to location no problem.
