I'm afraid I do not speak Czech, but I'm hoping you can help me. I noticed this conversation on Portland, Oregon, and am hoping this means there is a Czech community in Portland. In about a month, an Au Pair will be arriving at our home from the Czech Republic. She is 20 years old and has never visited the United States. She is very excited to arrive, and we're very excited to receive her. We would like for her to feel very comfortable about her decision to live with us for one year, and live in Portland. Do you have any information that we can send her about Portland, the Czech community here, etc, that will help her feel good about coming to Portland?
