Ahoj Dana, That is a good question! But I don't know the answer... I am just a classical guitar player. I have asked the meaning of that czech sentence because it is the title of a Milada Karez CD. Milada Karez is a virtuouse czech guitarrist who recently offered me a CD with songs she composed for children. The title of that CD is precisely "KDY JE NEJLEPSI ZACIT HRAT NA DUDY". I visited Praha last month for the first time, and I was so impressed with the beauty of the city and the sound of the czech language, that I decided start learning it. Czech is not the most difficult language of the world, but is not either the easiest... Up to now I could manage 5 languages, and this 6th one is a real chalenge for me. Ahoj Dana, I'm sorry... You see how Czech is not an easy langue to learn?... You have always to worry about the gramatical context of a noun, I mean the declension. If I am not wrong, in my sentence I should use the Accusative case ... "kytaru", and not the Nominative case "Kytara". Is that so? For every noun and adjective Czech language has 7 cases! 7 different ways to say it... That is the most difficult part to learn Czech, at least for me, because in Portuguese the words don't have declensions, and "kytara", "Guitarra" in portuguese, is always "Guitarra", independently of its grammatical value in a sentence... But this is what gives more interest in learning another language!! Antonio
