to "hit out" is not the same as "striking" someone with a hand or a fist. It's meant that the anger the person has inside them causes that person to "lash out", and that's in deeds or words, not fistfights. so, the male would say to a female: Ja vim ze mas uvnitr hodne hnevu (or "zlosti" which is a bit stronger), a ze kvuli tomu se oboris na ty, ktere milujes. Ale jestli to budes delat nadale, znicis tim nas vztah. Nerikam ti to prot, abych ti ublizil, ale proto, ze te nechci ztratit.
