How would you say "It's a Czech thing," addressing it to a girl, is "Je to za Cesky vec" way off? I just kinda put the words together I am not sure if they are correct. Thanks for any replies!
Literally "Je to česká věc" but that might also well be wrong, depending on the context you use it in. Could you clarify a bit what exactly you mean by that sentence? (for ex. is that supposed to be an answer to any specific question? what is the "thing" you're speaking of? etc.)
I would say it whenever me and her had something in common, and someone else didn't and then say "its a Czech thing", we already say it in English, but she asked me how to say it in Czech, and I wasn't sure. So could you still use either one or is it different now?
