    Hello everybody, hi from England.
This is my first time on the site. I was advised to try this forum because I'm trying to find relatives of Franta Kejik. I know an 80 year old lady who befriended him during the war after he came to England to join the Royal Air Force. They dated a few times and they wrote to each other when he was posted out of the area. He went home after the war to support his family during the Russian occupation. They carried on writing for a while but the letters stopped and she feared he had been locked up or killed. She had a lot of respect for him because he was very polite.
We have discovered since that he died 9/4/1972, but my friend says that she would love to contact any children or family Frantisek might have, so I said I would try. My friend - Olive - would be very grateful for any information.
    Many thanks in advance.

Where was he living before he died? Was he in Prague, or another town. ie: where were the letters coming from.

Thank you for repying, I do not have that information at the moment. I will ask Olive. All I know (which I got from another forum search) is that Frantisek Kejik was born on 24/9/1920.
    I hope this helps.
    Bill.

I don't have the means to really help, I just know that the more information you can give, it will help those who read this topic and can help you.

I just googled the name and came up with a couple of hits. Maybe it's a relative? (He likes to play chess.) There is also a Martin with an email address.

    Hello again,
I have recieved Olives letters from Frantisek. They make very touching reading! According to the Czech Embassy his last known address was Prague 2, Na slupi 141/7. He had once lived in Sternbeck, Morova in 1945 at Nadrazni 7 and Nadrazni 9. and had studied in Prague.
His original home address was 15, Na navsi, Brno XV but it is recorded that he died in Prague. He was an education officer.
If there is anybody out there who could put me and Olive in touch with a relative, I would be very grateful.
    Many thanks,

    Bill x
