    Yes. Yes. Whichever you like.
See this picture. This is what average people look like in winter in Prague. Nothing special.

I see picture of riders. Any where close (10 - 15 minutes) from Prague to ride horses?
    Thanks

I am travelling to Prague for Thankgiving (end of November). Is it appropriate to wear a fur coat??

My husband and I just returned from Cechia last night, and let me tell you.. it was freezing cold. Try hovering around 1C until at last, Sunday, it started snowing in the mornings... light snow, mind you, but still.. a good 4-5 hours in the mornings.

Fur coats.... there are so many tourists that are well-dressed.. for the most part, i feel you would stand out if you were anywhere but in Stare Mesto, Old Town. As I mentioned, many dressed up tourists in that area.

As far as wearing layers, I would highly recommend that. Scarf, hat, gloves, thick, warm jacket and maybe a sweater and light shirt underneath, and I'd still venture to say you're going to feel the nip.

This year's November is certainly much colder than last year. I wonder whether it will warm by the time that you go, but historically, it only sinks in degrees as time marches on toward Dec.

    Hope u find this helpful!

I have seen several fur coats in the last few days, and not on tourists. But there aren't that many of them and are definitely not the norm. But then it's not that cold yet.

If you wish to wear the skin of a dead animal then it's entirely up to you.

I've been in Prague when it was quite cool - 0C at 10 in the morning - don't remember any fur coats.
BTW it is getting cool here, too. I might even wear a long-sleeved shirt today.

If I lived in Surrey, I might say the same. But I live in Prague and if it gets down to -12, which apparently it could soon, I might well resort to the skin of a dead animal if it keeps me warm.

I was down in Orlando last week--had to wear a long-sleeved shirt a couple of days. I came home to Rochester to snow flurries.
